| New to YT I'm thinking about getting a yorkie puppy but want to learn as much as I can first. I've been lurking here for a week or so and have found so much information! Thanks everyone, what a great site! |

Lovin' 2 Girls Donating Member | WELCOME, Pat! Well, Yorkies should come with a warning: They're like potato chips. LOL My Abigail will be one y/o tomorrow, and when I got her I was so thrilled, I thought I would be satisfied just to be loved by one. HOWEVER....I already have puppy fever again, and am trying to figure out how to justify getting another one next year! There's something about the patter of Yorkie puppy feet...

| I'm new to Yorkies too. Just got Banjo 4 weeks ago. Hes so fiesty, and full of spirit, and fun. Hes going to be big though. He's supposed to be 12 weeks and is already 6lb. I dont know if the breeder has his birth date right. There was only 3 pups left, all males and I think they lied about the ages to sell them. As I suppose older pups dont sell. Banjo's mum was around 9lb and his father only 6lb. Can anyone tell me what a 12 week old pup looks like? |

| i have to agree.. both are VERY addicting.. you get one... you are completely overwhelmed by how cute they are AND how much work a puppy is.. but layla is 9 months now.. doens't require NEARLY as much work as she did.. and i'm thinkign about number two.... you will NOT regret a yorkie.. i promise! AND you have already found the best place for owners.. this is THE most helpful website i have ever found... every question or concern i have.. someone else has been through it and is more than willing to help! welcome! |
