| Any advice? My pup gets car sick... Need advice: The past two months, my Tika has been getting car sick. She's 7mos old now, but when she was younger, she did well in the car. Now she throws up when we get to our destination. When she does ride in the car, she is in her carrier which is open on the top. Sometimes she lies down in it and other times she sits up - either way she throws up. Does anyone else have this kind of problem? What do you do? I like taking Tika around with me and would hate to start leaving her at home. Any advice would be appreciated.

| Several of us have this problem. Search Rescue Remedy here at YT! It is the most wonderful completely safe product and it has been discussed many times so a search will give you all the info on it! |

| My pup got carsick until he got his "Lookout carseat." He has never been sick since then. He sits up high and can look out the windows and watch everything going on. The carseat is large and comfortable, and if we're in the car for very long - he lies down and takes a nap. He loves his carseat! **** Actually I have two dogs and two Lookout carseats. They both love them. Carol Jean |

I Love Thor Donating Member | Ginger is a natural remedy for car/motion sickness. You can give your pup a ginger snap cookie 1/2 hour before getting in the car and see if that helps. Do a search on ginger and dog car sickness. I'm pretty sure you can also give them raw ginger but double check on that first. |

| I started crating Ollie in the car. hat seems to help on shorter trips, but she occasionally still gets sick on longer trips. My other yorkie used to get sick also, but she eventually outgrew it. |
