| I finally made my decision.. Mimi is getting spayed. I've been so nervous about getting her spayed but since she was just diagnosed with LP I don't want to risk her getting pregnant. Her having babies is just not worth it..my babies mean the world to me and I don't want her to go through any discomfort due to my negligance or just being scared to do it. I'll leave her in God's hands which are the best hands in the world. I know I'm doing the right thing for her...Timmy will get fixed after the holidays..x-mas and moving into a new home is just breaking my pockets Now what I need to know is should I take a few days off from work to be with her...if so, how many days should I take. Daddy is also going to take some days so he could be with her too. Can I still have Timmy around her? Or should I send him to grandmom's house? |

| I would just take off the day she comes home and maybe the day after if you want to. I had Chachi around Jewels but he was allso neutered at the same time

| I had Lady spayed on a thursday....then I took off Friday and had the whole weekend...i knew work wouldn't let me take more time off so doing it at the end of the week gave me a few extra days with her...Sorry but I have no suggestions about Timmy I only have one yorkie...Lady likes to sleep in her crate so keeping her away from my cat wasn't a problem....From all the experiences I have read on here...the first night they are very tired, but the next day was business as usually..Lady was tired for the first few days, she slept a lot, but that made it more the easier to keep her from jumping around....I'll be keeping both you and Mimi in my thoughts... |

| You may want to check with your vet and see if they accept Friends of animals or Save the animals cert. It could save you some cash. |

| Good job ... I think you made a wise decision for Mimi! When Toto was spayed, I held her for three days except for her to potty & eat a little. The main thing our vet stressed was no running, jumping, climbing, etc. She did great ... actually much better than I. She was so tiny and slept pretty much the first couple of days .... then ... on about the third day she was her normal self ... and me?? .... well, I finally took a shower and a very long nap!! We will certainly keep little Mimi in our prayers .... she will probably do better than Mom!

| I had a problem after Lillian was spayed the other 2 dogs were licking her stictches which is obviously not good..so just watch out for her when the others are around. Ohh maybe you can try SpayUSA its low cost spay neuter. |

| I am using save the animals and the phone #856-582-3661 ask for Diana, she is in Washington Township. The website for Friends of animals is friendsofanimals.org. I am paying $65 for Peanut's neutering the bloodwork is extra. |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | It's great to know that you decided to do it. Bengi got neutered on a Friday, so then I had the weekend to take care of him. I don't have another dog, but Bengi licked himself during the 2nd night so it got a little nasty there. After that, no problems. |

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | It is tough to let these little ones have surgery, but it is in her best interest. (IMO) Hang in there....that day of surgery is a long day for you...but give her a few days and she will be back to her normal self!!
