| Questions??? So since no one has responded to my thread: "Whats your Yorkies typical day?" which i posted today i have a question. What do you put in the crate with them? How long is ok to leave them in there? Where is the cheapest place to find a good size one? I hope someone of you can give me advice on my other thread thanks.

| Hi. My Feliz is out in the house from 5am-6:30 am. She is not crated. I have a baby gate up in the back of my house wher she has about 7 ft x 5 feet. She has a water dishm food dish, some cookies, a cinnamon dental corn chew, a wool lined cat bed, puppy pads, and a squeak toy for now until she gets older. I get home between 4-7 PM. She is out from the time I get home until we go to bed which is quite late. She usually is bathed right now every day or so as she is sick. Cheapest place to find crates, look in the local papers, pennysaver, or recycler, and you can find a very large crate cheaply. I like the setup I have as I am able to quickly pull up the puppy pads and bleach the floor keeping her out of it by putting the gate on the other side. I hope this helps. deborah |

| I got a nice crate at Walmart. like 30.00 , I only keep toys, and chew things in his crate, but he is never in it for more than 4 hours,, so I dont worry about food or water.

| I don't use a crate. I use a pen that has eight sides and is 26 inches tall. I keep my puppies in there with several toys, food, water and cat litter box. I am out of the house for about 11 hours a day, so I want this area to be complete. When I am home they have free run of the house. They are 9 month old now and are pretty good about using the litter box |
