| Attention Yt,please Read Over the past few weeks i have seen a lot of comments about ''floppy eared'' yorkies, and it is starting to annoy me! Just because we have babies with floppy ears, does not mean your yorkies with errect ears are better than ours! I have 2 girls with floppy ears and they are gorgeous and DO LOOK like yorkies. So you have ''breed standard'' yorkies, do they have the perfect topline, coat texture and colour, size? no they probably dont fit the entire breed standard! So lay off floppy eared yorkies with full tails, they are cute! and just as pretty as one with errect ears, in some cases prettier (P.S) I DO NOT WANT THIS TO TURN INTO A DEBATE, JUST WANTED TO STATE MY ANNOYANCE. |

| I think your pups are adorable! I like all yorkies. Erect ears or floppy ears full tail or docked tail.

If she has a full tail I would LOVE to see it. I have always wondered what they would like with long tails. Diesel's isn't as short as most would think it should be. I still love his tail being a little longer. I can only imagine how cute they would be with long tails! Michelle | |

| I have one that the ears did not stand. Actually you never notice it. no one has ever looked at my 4 and made a comment about the Ahia's non-erect ears. it wouldn't bother me if they did any way. I would defend her all the way.

| I completely understand you....My girl has floppy ears and I absolutely LOVE it. I did shave her ears to see if they would stand but thats as far as I am going. If she wants to bring them up she'll do it on her own...just my opinion. People have told me (not on here) that if her ears don't stand than she is not purebred. I do tell them that not all Yorkie's ears stand and they look at me with a freakin dumb face. By the way...your girls are adorable!!!! |

| Both of Bo's ears are erect. Duncan has one floppy ear and I would not have it any other way. |

| My Lucy's ears stand up. But my mom has a yorkie"rocky" and his ears flop. I actually think it's cutier when the ears flop. The vet said Rocky just has lazy ears b/c he can stand them up if he wants too. If you ask him if he wants a treat or to go on a ride he perks his ears up. He always does it if he's excited. Crystal

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | There is NOTHING wrong with the floppies...they're adorable ! ....if the post I'm thinking about.... is the one you're upset about - the only dig was towards a woman bragging that her breeder intentionally went for that look when breeding ...... But don't let comments like that get to you - it's NO different than people getting pissed cause their yorkie grew too big how do you think the people with bigger yorkies feel reading that ? and your yorkies are just GORGEOUS ! Ears up or down - a yorkie is a Yorkie |

| Ok here are a few pics of my babies full tails, they aren't very good shots but you can see them. I let the hair on the tails grow really long and then it makes a beautiful fountain! Duke has erect ears, he is gorgeous too, but i do LOVE LOVE LOVE floppy ears and am fed up with critisism |

| Oh my! LOL how cute! It doesn't look like the tails grow very long. I mean the bone part not the hair. If thats the case then Diesel's tail isn't far from being full! His tail is a good 2 or 2.5 inches long. I think you babies are jsut adorable!! Michelle |
