| Will travel if needed!! My daughter's 9th birthday is Sunday the 6th. She wants a cake with a yorkie on it! (go figure) Well I'm not a cake decorator and would have no clue how to do this for her. I called the lady that has done her cakes in the past and she said she can do a "puppy" but not so sure it would look like a "yorkie" so to speak. We're having a huge party at the skate rink for her on Sunday afternoon and she has a "BIG" surprise coming to her considering she is turning 9 which is the age to officially begin jr. handling with the akc.... I'll leave the gift up to your imaginations! hee hee. Anyway, if anyone in my area, say Greensboro, Winston Salem, Charlotte area can make a sheet cake with a pretty yorkie on it, I'd be willing to travel on Saturday to get it and compensate you very fairly for it. In the mean time, I'll keep trying to find someone who can do this. Thanks, |

| I think some places can take a picture and put that picture onto the sheet cake (don't ask me how). But I bet you could get a very cute picture and do that.

| If I am not mistaken I think she can take a pic to Walmart bakery, almost everybody has them close by, and they can print it on the cake...

| WALMART does photo cakes..... they do a great job and the photo is edible... it is great! If that doesnt work, one thing I did, MANY years ago, my brother wanted a motorcycle on his Grooms cake. I took a REAL photo of him racing, had it laminated and put it on the cake with icing frame, it came out great! d

| Oh wow! Really? We have a brand new super wally world not far from us. I never even considered them and didn't realize they did cakes. I am a die-hard food lion shopper and I did ask them yesterday if they could do a yorkie and they were not "sure". Ok, thanks for the info! I'm gonna check them out first thing tomorrow. But if anyone can do it, I'd still be willing to drive to get a nice home-made one. This is a very special birthday for her and I want to make it a memory she'll never forget. Thanks! |

| I hope she has a wonderful birthday. Many years ago I had an edible picture cake. It was of the Backstreet Boys. My mom just took a picture into the grocery store and they somehow get it on the cake. If I remember right everyone picked the picture part off cause it didn't taste the best. It was a really cool cake and it was something different too! I'm sure she would love it!!
