| For those of you that groom & trim hair yourself.. You know how when you make a copy of a copy of a copy it doesnt looks as good as the original? Well I feel like thats what Ive done to Chloe's hair when I cut it. It used to look good and when I trim it I try to follow the same cut but now its just a wild unproperly layered looking haircut. She keeps going through bad allergy stages and she looses and breaks off a lot of hair so I have no choice but to continually trim her hair becuase when she scratches she gives herself what I call a "doggy mullet" its short on top and long on the sides. But all the trimming has gotten out of hand and we no longer have a actually hair cut or style to work with. Anyone else have this problem? I wish I knew a groomer that could give her a haircut that looks natural and not drastic or choppy but I dont know anyone. Any ideas? I need to get her hair back to a more natural look

| Sorry I can't help but I do know what you are going through. I am thinking of getting Lexi a one time short puppy cut. Then letting it grow out( Iguess you could say starting over) Her allergies get so bad some times her back legs look like they have been shaved. Right now the shots she is getting are helping. Good Luck, Tricia and the girls

| Several years ago, before we got our first yorkie, I saw a yorkie that had the hair on the crown trimmed like a schnauzer - trimmed almost to the skin where the topknot would be but had a full coat everywhere else. The back of the head had a gradual trim to blend it with the neck and he had full length coat from the ears & eyes down. It would look similar if the yorkie had a french braid to the back of the neck. No eyebrows. He was georgeous! If anyone has a similar cut, could you please post it?
