Can Keeley play with the puppy? Our good friend (and neighbor) is rescuing a little boston terrier/beagle mix tonight or tomorrow. She is 10 weeks and hasn't had any shots yet. Keeley is up to date on all of his shots. Can I let them play together? Keeley is going to be so excited to have a little friend to play with, I just don't want to put them in danger in anyway... Thanks!! --I know I have a lot of questions-- thanks for all the advice!!

I think I would let her go for a vet check first and observe him for a couple of days before you make that decision. Kennel cough, worms, giardia and coccidia won't be covered by vaccinations.

That is exactly what I wanted to know!!! Thank you! Keeley is staying put until the little girly puppy goes to the vet and gets a check up. The place he rescued her from was not clean at all, the poor baby had SOOOO many fleas all over her. I helped him give her a bath and the water was running off of her was reddish from the red dirt. There were fleas floating in the bath water and there were still tons on her. Her ears we caked with dirt and bugs and everything else... I don't know what else she could or could not have. And with how much I baby Keeley, I wouldn't want to put him in any kind of jepordy. I hope the vet gives the baby an a-okay and they can be friends in the future. As of right now, Keeley's health is my top priority.
