Itchy ears!! I did a search here and found out a lot of information on ears-- BUT I have more questions that I couldn't find the answers to. The last weekish he had been itching his WHOLE body like crazy, so I got him some flea stuff, put it on him yesterday, and it has completely stopped the itching on his body. Like NIGHT and DAY! But now all the sudden he is itching his ears like a mad man, shaking his head making his ears flap around, and digging in his bed, rubbing his ears all over it. I feel so bad for him. He seems so miserable! The question I am wondering is, Why would it start right after I did the flea thing? I looked in his ears, no dirty crumb like things, and no weird smells. Just lots of itching!! ANY CLUES? I don't have a car to take him to the vet today, so I wont be able to take him until tomorrow or friday... any help, tips anything would be appreciated!

He could have ear mites. If he is still itching tomorrow, I would definately take him to the vet.

Please let us know what the vet says! He probably just has an ear infection or ear mites. They will clean out his ears and give you some drops. They will get him feeling better in no time at all! Keep us updated!
