Puppy Mill movie I just watched the movie of a dog auction in MO on www.puppymillrescue.com It makes me sick!!!! Remember when we were going to try to start a fund to help with medical treatment of Yorkies a while back? Well, Admin had some good reasons for not wanting us to do it over YT. So I'm going to donate to Puppy Mill rescue and try to help some of these poor creatures get aid they need. PLEASE if you can take it, go to that site and watch the movie. It reinforces what we already know,,,NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM A PET STORE THAT SELLS PUPPIES!!! Not even a toy or a leash or anything! When we support those stores in any way, we are supporting misery for thousands of furbabies!! I almost apologized for being on my soapbox, but I'm not going to! Let's ALL take a stand against this abuse and help however we can!!Thank you all! Elizabeth

I've seen it to. I couldn't agree more. There's no way in hell, I would support a pet store that sells dogs from puppymills

Thanks Pink Martini! I feel so strongly about this issue. I just signed up to be a foster mommy! I don't know if they'll let me though--our yard isn't fenced! We'll see! My poor husband!!!! LOL He just goes along with whatever to keep me happy! How can anyone treat these animals this way. I also just read your post about your stupid neighbor!!! Why don't you turn her in to the AKC???

Missouri=puppymills? I am currently thinking about buying a yorkie from a breeder who is located in missouri. All breeders there are not puppymills are they? She is asking 5000 for the pup.

No, all breeders are not puppy mills. I read your post about buying the $5000 puppy and I hope you will change your mind and get a puppy from a breeder who has a love for the dogs and not the $$$. Please select a breeder that will allow you into her home and will let you see where the dogs live. You can also see the parents of your puupy at least you can see the mother. Sometimes the sire is owned by someone else. A good breeder will ask you more questions than you will ask her. Good breeders care about where their puppies end up. Did you go to www.puppymillrescue.com? You will see what a puppy mill is and you will NEVER want to support that industry if you love dogs!!!! Good luck with your yorkie baby wherever you get one! Just please don't buy one at a pet store!

Okay I'm sorry I couldn't watch the video.. I can't stand to even look at the pictures... I just cry and get very sick to my stomach. I wish I could just beat those people who do that. I wish I could stick them in a tiny cage and make them live miserable lives. Seriously I wish there was more that we could do as animal lovers to help these poor babies, but I feel so helpless. I wish I could hop in an RV and go around america and save all the abused animals. There are puppymills are my home and everytime i drive by i think about how one night i'm gonna sneak out and let all of those poor babies out of their cages and into my car and take them home and love them and find them homes....but then i remember that I could get shot for trespassing and stealing and since these are obviously heartless people they would most likely just bury me in the backyard. So i'm still thinking of other plans. I have an idea about one of the mills and I will post about it later after I develop the pictures I took (from the road) of the cages and their sign advertising these poor things. .....sorry for the long post..
