Always check your leashes before going out! My hubby took Topher for a nice walk last night and when he came home, he went to go and do something in the garage so he handed Topher's leash to my 13 year old son. For some reason or another, the leash SNAPPED where the clasp joins the leash. Of course Topher took off running, but thankfully came back when my son called his name. This is a good leash and relatively new (bought in February and not used much at all). We're definitely going to make sure we check over his leashes and harnesses each time we go out. Thank heavens it didn't happen in a place where there was heavier traffic.

Thanks for the warning. I would have never thought to check it, either - but I will now.

Our new little BeeBee has a new pink cat collar from Target that has an expandable link by the bell. I figured that would snap so we added a small zip tie to it. Most time we use her harness.
