| Flaxseed oil Does anyone give their babies flaxseed oil and how much? What milligrams?I read that it was very good for them and esp their coat. Hayley is now on grizzley salmon oil but I heard flaxseed was even better. Thanks in advance for the info

| I use it in the winter for Hallie's dry skin. I don't know the exact measurements but I usually put 4-5 drops in with her food. She never had any tummy upset from it and her skin looked great! |

| Flaxseed oil is the best source for Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids which help the coat. Here's a link to read that tells the dosages and why they recommend their product for dogs over others. http://www.lucy-the-dog.com/flaxseedoil.html |

| Yes, I give my Bassett Flaxseed oil daily, but not my Yorkie. (Bassetts are very prone to eye problems, dry eye included...it's preventative...very good for treating dry eyes.) Like someone already said, high in Omega 3's. You have to get it from health food stores. Try Barleans.com...a very good brand..I think they have it at most GNC stores.. |
