| Katy's Birthday Party Plan Tomorrow is Katy’s 1st Birthday. Since money is tight Aria (my Granddaughter), Katy and I worked on the guest list, invitations and decorations. The invitations came out beautiful. They were filled with some of the best looking configurations of stickers I have ever seen! The decorations will consist of balloons and signs that are a work of art. We had a game plan. The party was all planned. Katy decided that we were being too stingy with the invitations! She wanted to invite some of her other neighborhood friends to her party. So, last night she went out visiting in the back yard (we have a doggie door). Keep in mind; she didn’t consult with either me or Aria. We are experienced birthday planners. Had she come to us with the idea we would have advised her not to do it. But, she did it any way. She went out while we were all sleeping and invited her friend. She is a cute little thing, all black and with a white stripe. Evidently they had an argument, her little friend must have been upset when Katy told her Aria and I didn’t want her at the party! So, she sent Katy back into the house with a new smell. YUK!!! Of course, since we were sleeping, we didn’t find out about the altercation until we got up. By then Katy had made sure that she tried to wipe the smell off everywhere. Needless to say, the house is very clean in anticipation of the birthday party and Katy has had several baths. Now, I am wondering what the terrible two’s is going to bring. |

| What a cute story! It is so nice to share things like this with your granddaughter (and us)! You sound like an extra special person. I have heard that soaking in tomato juice takes away the smell. |

| What a well written story! At your expense I had a few laughs. It was a visual thingy, poor you, and little Katy. Our kids birthday is in August, planning a big bash as well, can't wait to see pictures. Please let us know how it turned out, it sounds like it should be a ball....
