| Question About Traveling With My Guy. zIP and Benji will GO ON VACATION WITH US AND I hear of people taking them in the stores with them. My question is I didn't think stores allowed this. Benji does not like to do that but I think zip will. I bought a cute little purse for him. Will places allow this? I want to take him every where but did not think they would allow in the stores. Where does everyone take their yorkie's? |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I have taken Ruby into Gordmans, Orschelns, Cato, Sally's Beauty Supply. Our trainer at Petsmart says Lowes and Home Depot will allow dogs also. I am sure there are others, stores that don't sell food products. Good luck! |

| Hi I am excited now about taking him places with me. Do you carry him or put him in your purse? |

| I'm awaiting the day that I'm brave enough to take my Scrappy into stores with me, other than Petsmart! I'm just too chicken yet.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I once used my bag and took her to walmart, cashiers saw her and had me step away from cameras so they could pet her. other places I have just walked in with her in my arms and acted like we belonged there, no one has said anything yet. The worst that can happen is they ask you to leave, which I would promptly do. This wasn't bravery, stupidity I guess, I thought most everyone took their tiny dogs with them into nonfood stores. |

| I try to take mine everywhere. I had them tell me at Joann Fabrics the other day that only service dogs were allowed. They let me finish shopping though and I promised I wouldn't bring him again. I was just carrying him. They might not have said anything if I had him in a bag. I also take him to Target, Lowes and Petsmart. I've also taken him into Kroger (grocery store) if I am only picking up a couple of quick things. No one told me I couldn't have him in there. I know some Targets don't allow dogs but they just said how cute he was at the Target near me. |

I just figured it out -- Why your furkid is named Scrappy -- it hit me like a bolt of lightening when I looked at your user name AVIDSCRAPBOOKER and then Scrappy's name. | |

| I've taken Kona to Longs Drugs and Safeway (grocery store). Both times I've had her in my arms and nobody made any comments other than how cute she is. I tried to take her with me to Target (holding her on my arm again) and the security guard told me I couldn't bring her in there. I was pretty shocked... I'm thinking about getting a purse or something I can put her in when I go shopping so she can come with me. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I was tempted to try Target last weekend, but I had read on YT thread about someone being escorted out of Target (by security) in a rude manner. I didn't want to have that happen to us. I may try with her in my bag though, because I was told, Target has a good selection of dog purses/carriers at reasonable prices. |
