| Good Books for Training? As I am preparing for Oliver to come home and I am, of course, getting nervous about training him. I have been doing a TON of reading on the internet but was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on books they liked about training their dogs? I appreciate your suggestions! |

| Three of the books that I have that have been very helpful are: Cesar's Way by Cesar Milan -- it doesn't really tell you HOW to train, it explains more of the WHY dogs react the way they do. Dog Problems by Carol Lea Benjamin Better Behavior in Dogs The titles of the last two are rather deceiving. They give some very good insight about dog behavior AND ideas on how to train.... |
