| Help! First Bath Ok this morning I was beat. I was so tired from last night that I didn't hear Beauty wimpering for me to let her out. She pee'd all over herself inside the crate. I tried to get the smell of the urine off by wiping her off but that isn't working. She is 8 weeks old and has had her first set of shots. Is it too early for her to have a bath. If not, out of curiosity, is 6 weeks too young for a yorkies first bath because my friend that I got her from said that she always start bathing hers at 6 weeks. Thanks Tameika and Beauty |

| I got Kona around 7 weeks. Her breeder had just given her her first bath that morning. I think you'd be fine giving her a bath. I know I had given Kona a 2nd bath by the time she was 8 weeks. Good luck! |

| I don't think it would be a problem at all. Just make sure the water is nice and warm, not hot (check with underside of your wrist) and put her in nice dryer warmed towels when you're done. |

| Ok so the bath went better than expected. She squirmed a little but all in all it went fairly smooth. But I do have a question...Is there anything I can do about her breath. It is really bad. My mother said that she'll just have to grow out of it but I was hoping that the "experts" here would tell me differently! My cousin told me that she gives her yorkie Honey nut cherrios for a treat she said that it is actually good for them. Is she right or should I buy treats made especially for small puppies? Thanks in advance Tameika and Beauty |

| When I brought Louie home everyone talked about his bad breath. So I went to the pet store and asked them if there was any kind of treat that would help. They pointed me in the direction of some drops that I could use. Just one lil drop would help. He didnt fight me at all. He kinda liked it. I cant remember the name of it but just go and ask.

| I think she will be fine. I didn't know there was a time too early to give baths. I know my breeder gave the pups a bath at 6 weeks and I give them once a week. I do know however that if you take her to a groomer, or mine at least, they have to have 3 sets of shots before they will groom 'em. Hope you get her all sparkley and clean again.
