So have you decided to keep him or is this a different one? Anyway, he looks to me like he has a very thick coat and the right length for his age. I can't see his legs in these pics, but who really cares if the hair on his legs doesn't grow. They'll be covered up by the other hair anyway. My new baby girl, Kelsey, (18 weeks on Thurs.) has a very thick coat too. I noticed she was matting down close to her skin. It does look like her baby hair is falling out. I went and got some Cowboy Magic for matts and tangles (livestock store, horse product). I massaged it in and was able to remove all of this fuzzy hair and her coat now lays flatter and looks a 100% better. This product will also strengthen the hair and keep it from breaking. I've been lucky so far in having all no tangle silk coats, but my new baby I'm a little worried about. Her coat is very different than the others, mainly just thicker.

HI! yep i decided to keep him, we have all grown attached and we found the surgery much much cheaper, 50 per hernia plus anesthia and my husband said it was more than worth it when one vet said $450. i have no trouble with tangles so far, i got some of that oatmeal spa something to take care of his dry skin and that worked in one application!!, so you think his hair will grow long? if i take care of it? i think i see silver coming to his coloring too, around his face, i think that will be very pretty

Supplement his food with omega fatty acids, Missing Link is a hair and coat supplement. I think all Yorkie coats grow, but some are drier so they break off. Again, the Cowboy Magic would moisturize and strengthen. Also, I like a human product made by Redken called Extreme Anti-Snap. It's a professional salon product so you won't find it at Sally's, but check some salons that sell products. My hair never seemed to grow, but the fact is it was actually growing just the ends were breaking off. It's a leave in conditioner and I only put in on my ends, but I've noticed a big improvement in my hair's condition and length. I don't remember what I paid, but it is very economical to use and the 8.5 oz bottle will last forever.
