| Look what I just made I am trying to sell these bows locally (to vets and pet groomers), but I am not having any luck. These are handsewn, stiffened, and have either barrette or rubberband. What is a good price? It takes me about 20 minutes to make each one. Anyway, I welcome any feedback. I have spent a lot of money on printing up packaging, buying ribbon (some imported from France, etc.) |

About selling them: I know what you're talking about! I make special pillows that stay where you put them and it is very hard to get them in shops. Maybe you could contact pet shops, preferably privately owned and put them in consignement. I also tried ebay but had no luck so far. Finding the right price: Calculate the cost of fabric then ad about $2 to $5 for your labor. Then look at websites and other sources to find out what other people charge for a product similar to yours and evaluate your price accordingly. Don't be shy to ask for a good price! People will pay for quality, uniqueness and beauty. In my experience a lower price doesn't sell better.Think of a catching name, maybe a little exotic. When you go to the Vets and groomers do you take your Yorkie with a pretty bow with you? That might help a lot. If you would like to have a website, I could help you with that (just for fun, no costs for you.) | |

| Try selling them on Ebay. I have been looking for some boyish looking boys for my little one. I seen some real cute ones on ebay. They were sport bows. They had football. baseball, basketball, etc.... If you can make some boyish looking ones I will definately buy some from you. I want a little girl too! Actually I am thinking about getting one but I still have some convincing to do...with my fiancee. I just got my little one 2 weeks ago and he loves to be around other animals...but it seems like they don't want nothing to do with him and I feel so bad for him because he wants to play...hmmm well I actually get MAD I took him to petsmart today and this older man had a beagle and she was the nicest dog so we let them play for a few minutes and my baby was so so happy! |
