| Emergency Room OMG! I thank god that my lil boy is okay. I always keep things that aren't safe out of his way. I don't know how in the world he got a hold of this. One night he was laying down on his bed and i went and looked at Rambo and he had something suck on this face and lil breard . I took a closer look and there it was, brillo pad stuck to his face. He had eaten half of a brillo pad. That was the worst scare ever. I called poison conrol and they told me to rush to the vet, so i did. Thank god he threw up half the sponge. We got to the vet. They took some xrays and they saw a bit in his stomach. They gave him something to soften his stool so that when he pooped it wouldn't scratch him up. THey also gave him antibiotics. He is doing very well. Again , i thank god. i don't know what i would of done if something would of happened to him. Just thought i would vent and share my story with the best forum out there.. THanks, Rambo's Mama |

| omgosh i just lol when i read your post only because I was trying to picture a brilo pad on his little face, so please forgive me for laughing I would have felt the same way you did if one of mine did that, I am so happy your baby is doing well. my sister's dog felt sick one day was like walking around drunk so she rushed him to the vet, the vet says he looks high my sister said what, so the vet took xrays there it was a joint, the vet said that is why he looked the way he did, she said where did he get that? well long and behold her room mate smoked it which she didn't know well her dog is fine and the room mate got busted when she confronted her room mate they denied it which she knew was a lie, and that room mate is now gone but she was scared didn't know what was wrong with him.. she said the vet looked at her like she was a crazy women, she explain to the vet that she didn't do that stuff, she told the vet when she gets home she will not have a room mate.. |

It only takes a nano second for these little boogers to grab something, so if you blink they can snatch something and run with it before you even know they've done it! Thank goodness for the brillo left on his little chin or you never would have known what he got into! I'm just glad you found out and got him taken care of!! Happy Mother's Day, huh!!!

| I had to fight to get a brillo pad away from Ahia one time. thank goodness she had not eaten any of it by the time I got it away from her. I am glad it all "came out" ok for you.
