| How Far Before Your Yorkie is POOped? How far do you walk your Yorkie before they are tired? My two lil ones seems to get tired after about 1/2-1 mile. I think they poop themselves out before they even get out the house. I woke them up to go for an early walk and they barely made it down the street before they seemed tired and they have been sleep the rest of the day so far. |

| Trixie can go forever (I have taken her for loooong walks from the moment I got her). I can take her for 3 mile walks and when I get tired, she still wags her tails and runs ahead of me. The only time I had to carry her was when we got lost on a forest and walked around for 3.5 hours to find our way out. We had been jogging the first hour of that too. I carried her for about an hour or so...

| Ginger can walk forever too. Last month we went on a hike for about 3 miles with several others (including big dogs), and she kept up! When we got back, she still had enough energy to run and play. But, we walk 1-2 miles several times/week, plus she's a bigger yorkie (she's my little teapot), and I wonder if size has anything to do with stamina? |

Trixie is a little over 6 lbs. She was 4 lbs when I got her at three months and back then she could walk very long distances too.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali has gone about a mile but my Pom who is older and 13 lbs and overweight can only go 1/2 mile at best so I have to carry her back. I am going to try and take Cali alone for a longer walk.

| What great responses. Both of mine weigh about 6.5 lbs. Sebi has a very thick coat and he usually tires first. But, Sweet Pea go a little further than Sebi. I have notice though that Sebi pulls on his leash until he tires but Sweet Pea is not a puller, maybe that is the difference. But I don't think I could ever take them on a long hike, I would end up carrying both of them Ü After their walk they are done for the majority of the day...LOL... Life is great as a Yorkie, its nice to relax and sleep all day Ü |

| Hmmmm, I'm not sure how far Twinkie walks before pooping out, but I know she can go walking fo well over an hour with energy to keep on going. Despite her energy to keep going, she will have a good nap when we get home.
