| My pups get up nitely about 3am to go potty. If one wants out I just herd them all out at that time. Sometimes they just can't hold it all nite.

| My 8-year-old dog started doing this too - and I took her to the vet (for another reason) and discovered that she had diabetes. Another sign was her drinking a lot more water than usual. Your dog is a little young for diabetes - and it could also be a bladder infection that might be causing this. But - if it is new and unusual for her to get up in the middle of the night - and if she continues to do this, get her checked. Or - if she has been doing this for a while - you should probably get her checked soon...... because diabetes and many other problems should be addressed as soon as possible. With luck - you'll learn it is nothing serious at all. Carol Jean |

| dusty took dusty to the vet today just to be safe. he urine was a little orange. he was tender when she touched is belly. she told me that he has no fever and his urine was fine but to be on the safe side she checked his prostrate (he was thrilled) and said that it wasn't enlarged. so she wants to watch him for a while and told me to take up his water at 9pm and see if that doens't help. thanks for all your help and replys they really helped |

| I'm glad to hear Dusty has a clean bill of health and hope it stays that way and he shows no more symptoms!
