| Yorkie Terrorizing Wee Wee Pad Our 4-month old male yorkie appears to be very spirited. Before I leave for work, he's had a 15 minute walk/hold (he hasn't had all his shots yet, and so I carry him while walking our other dog) and has played with our Cairn terrier for more than an hour. When I leave for work, Paddington goes into his x-pen with toys, food, water, crate and bed and his wee wee pad which is in a plastic frame. Now comes the terror part. He clearly doesn't like having to be restricted and tears at his wee wee pad until dislodging it from its holder. He then tosses it around; not so lovely to come home and see the mess. He was very well trained by his breeder and does his pee and usually his poop on the pad. I think he is just frustrated not to have more freedom. Does anyone have any suggestions about what I can do to get him to stop this behavior? He loves his bully stick, but I'm afraid to leave him home with it unsupervised. Any advice would be most appreciated. |
