How to find someone to explain a pedigree... Hi folks. I just received Bella's online pedigree from AKC. (OH P-U ! Bella just passed wind and OMG it stinks!!!) Is there a good website to go to that helps you interpret it?

It's not too tricky Just read from left to right. far left is your dog, next column are the parents of your dog, next is the parents of the parents, or grandparents to your dog. etc. The top name is the father and the bottom is the mother. Hope that helps.

But is there anything I should be looking for? Good or bad? None of the names match so I don't think there is any inbreeding. Some have DNA numbers some don't. Some have CH some don't. Should they all have DNA numbers?
