What time does your yorkie wake up? Just curious...what time does your yorkie wake up in the morning? My 4 month yorkie gets up every morning (including the weekends) at 5:30 AM - barking, whining and crying. I'm getting tired of this and might need to move his crate out of our room to hopefully get more sleep. FYI...I should probably add that he does not have to go potty at 5:30 AM - he just wants to play! Just curious when your baby get up. If you have any suggestions for me (we have tried the clock thing, covering the crate, hiting the crate with our hand to make a noise, telling him NO, ignoring him, etc.) please let me know! I'm not sure if he is doing this because he is a puppy and wants to play or if he plans to do this forever! I'm tired...please help! Thanks!

My baby goes to bed with me around 10 or 11 at night, takes him a few minutes to find a "good spot" for him, then we get up at 6:00 a.m. during the week and about 7:30 or 8:00 on the weekends.

Our Gracie gets up in the morning when we do. We do not crate her. She has a bed next to ours. Most of the time she goes to bed when we do. I am sure she does all kinds of things while we are sleeping though. She does not bark or whine much...only when we are not paying attention to her. Heather&Steve

Luigi goes to bedwhen we do. And the king that he is, sleeps with us in bed. He has his own pillow and he is out for the night. He wakes up when I wake up. My hubby is up at 7 am every morning and I sleep right thru his alarm and now Luigi does too. But when my alarm goes off, he's up and licking my face waiting for me to take him outside!!! I have off 2 days during the week so sometimes I go back to bed. And so does Luigi.

Bailey also is put in his crate when we go to bed. He's awake and whining at 6:00am when my fiance is up getting ready for work. He's let outside to go to the bathroom and eat/drink and then put back into his crate for another 2 hours, until I get up for school. He whines & barks for a good 20-30 min EVERY single time he's put in there, night, day, ect. And this has been the schedule for 3 weeks now! Good luck with your baby, I feel your pain

Our Lillie did the same thing when she was a puppy - wanted to play at 5:30 or 6 in the morning. She sleeps with us, right between us, and goes to sleep when we do and wakes up when the alarm goes off. She very rarely wakes us up anymore. She's 18 months now, and I'd say it took her until about 9 months old to settle into her schedule.

Baby sleeps with us in our bed, often right inbetween her mommy and daddy. I get up when Nathan goes to work and make his lunch and Baby sits with me in the kitchen. Then, we go back to bed till whenever I wake up. However, sometimes Baby licks my face until I get up. If I cover my head with a pillow she will burrow under it to get to my face. She is soo fun! Also, when we wake up every morning it is allready decided by Baby that I am going to rub her tummy! SPOILED!!!!!!!

| I am guessing that your pet (s) will learn to live the lifestyle of the humans. Once of course you get the pup more mature and past the itty bitty pup stage. Schatzie for awhile now has been on a schedule of going to bed about 8:00 pm and awakening with us at 6:00 am. She follows us....our schedule. I have to admit, on weekends when it is "our human time" to sleep in, Schatzie is still wakeing up at 6:00. However, now that she is older, on weekends I am able to put her down from the bed and she goes to her potty pad area and I can sleep while she does her business then heads straight for her toys.

| It doesn't matter what time I wake up - that is when Carter gets up. My wakeup time can be anywhere from 6 AM to noon depending on how late I worked the night before. Each night, Carter is under my computer chair around 8 or 9 PM sleeping already while I'm working. If I decided to have a lazy day of laying on the couch watching TV, he is content as can be laying there with me snoozing.

I am so luccky that I got a puupy who likes to sleep. I work out of my home, but some days I still have to get up fairly early to take my daughter to school. I wrap :his royal highness" in his blanket and he rides with us all cozy to school. When we get back zI sometimes go back to bed, but if I don't he does!! He has a bed in every room so if I get on the computer he is either on my lap or in his bed next to my desk. He goes to bed in my bed, but sometimes he gets off the bed and gets in his own on the floor next to me. It's so cute watching him get all snuggled in!!! ON days where I get to sleep in he's right here with me. He also doesn't eat much in the morning. Doesn't really eat until 10 am or so. I never crate trained him so I can't help with that issue unless you want to start letting your puppy sleep with you. LOL
