| Dogs & House Plants! Does anyone else have trouble with DIGGING DOGGIES? LoL! I thought I'd dog proofed my apartment until this afternoon. I found my little angel digging out the whole pot! Granted, it's only a fake plant (because the real ones attract mosquito's) but the bottom is filled with earth and moss like stuff, which is now all over the place! LoL! Do you think it's best to get rid of it, or just to keep an eye on her until she leaves it alone?

| Try spraying it with bitter apple spray! If that doesn't work, you may need to get it out of her reach until she matures a little bit! Good luck!

| I think it's the fertilizer that tastes and smells good. Maybe you should keep it out of reach unitl she's older maybe she'll forget about it?

I Love Thor Donating Member | hahaha! Sorry to laugh but I know what a surprise that is! Thor did that when he was younger. YOur dog may grow out of it! For now, just keep a close eye, or but the plant up a little bit higher... |

| I know something that works! I used to have to do this when I had cats, so I tried it when Dublin was showing an interest in my plants. Wrap the bottom of the plant with aluminum foil. Its unpleasant for them so they leave it alone. After a while they will forget about it and you can take the foil off. It may ruin your decor for a while, but it works!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have a ton of house plants and Cali loves to chew on the leaves. She never eats them but loves to rip them up. They are all ok so I just try and beat her to the leaves that fall. She will eventually stop.
