| Post Spay/Nueter & Teeth Pull Expectations... Hi everyone! Our babies go in tomorrow for the procedures and I just wanted to know what to expect upon them coming home. I have done this before with cats and our family has done it with dogs but honestly I cannot remember how it is... Guess I am a little nervous as well. So any info you all provide would be great!!!

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Trace was neutered at 6 months other than being sleepy the afternoon of the procedure, he was fine the morning after. Took him back 10-14 days after to remove his stitches, although I think some on here had the dissolvable kind. Never had to keep his stitches covered or use that cone thing, he left them alone. His adult baby teeth came in behind his baby canines (one behind the other) after neutering. One's fallen out since, the other's loose now and will probably be out by this weekend. HTH.

| I got my male and my female done at the same time. It was good because they both had the same down time. They both did fine. Jewels was a little disoriented and had some pain the night we brought her home but she was okay by the next day. The only hard part of it was having two recovering. You cant let them jump and my vet said they could only go outside to go potty then needed to come right back in. They also couldnt be bathed for two weeks.

| These babies do so well with the procedures. Not like our hooman men atall!!!!LOL Seriously, they are sleepy and you might need to use a wee bit of pain meds. I have my vet give mine a pain shot before we leave and have no trouble at. I make scrambled egg and a little canned food or whatever if they have teeth extracted, and make sure they drink but otherwise they are up and about the next day... Give them smoochies for us.. |

| When Maddie came home after being spayed and having 9 teeth pulled, I fed her soft foods (I put warm broth on her puppy food or she got cottage cheese). She was sleepy for a few days but by the 4th day she was back to herself. One thing my vet cautioned me about was not letting her run or jump around for a few days so she would pull stitches. I just carried her outside to potty (spoiled little thing )

| I am just in the process of thinking about getting Lottie spayed , but when I got Alfie done he had to get his upper canines out at the same time and the vet put a lampshade thing on him and this seemed to be the worst part for him he was a bit sad the first night and then came round by the next day , but I did take the lampshade thing off and I used special pants called mikki pants with a hole that his tail could go through and he was a lot better with this than te lampshade.Best of luck at the vets

| Tiger had the laser surgery and was just fine the next day. He was very sleepy when we got home. He also had teeth extracted and also his dew claws removed. Your babies should be fine. We'll be thinking of them.
