| Thanks for the link! Not sure, I think I did it already, but if I did, I guess I'm down twice.

| Katrina I live very near New Orleans and the only rescues I saw or heard of were from private organizations, who did everything they could... many of them are still here, feeding the stray animals in and around the city. Thanks to them!! d |

| Yes, they are the true heroes...our bone to pick is with the HSUS who was in charge and seems to have made a royal mess and then have such an attitude of 'thanks for the 20 million that was donated for Katrina animals, but we have other more important things to do, such as divert some of the donated money to Pakistan..' I know most of you aren't seeing this in the media, but there has been a injustice that can't be just forgotton. Of approximately 8,000 pets rescued only 3,000 have been reunited with their owners and that was done by volunteers. The organization in charge stated that they themselves reunited less than 300 pets, not much for the 20 million donated IMHO. Rumor is they have all the paperwork such as where the pets were found, but will not share it with the volunteers. Read more here and click on the home link to see the animals that owners are looking for, please? http://www.lostkatrinapets.com/about.html
