| Just a couple of days. My girl was back to her self by the next day. You are supposed to keep them from jumping for 10 days. Also my vet said they could go outside to go potty only then back in for 10 days.

| Pippa was spayed and had her dew claws removed 12 days ago. She was ok after about 2 days but still very tired til about 7/8 days post op and then she was back to her bouncy self. Maybe having the dew claws done too made her recovery a bit slower. But as my vet would say she is quite a baby but i think it depends on the individual dog. As for her scar its only about 2 " long, she had her stitches out today and her scar is hardly noticable.

| I'd say a week. She may look back to herself after 3 days but she just had major sergury so i would baby her and keep a close eye on her until 7 days after the sergury.

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | I would say within three days my girls were totally back to normal!! It was so amazing how fast they recover...and now six months later you can't even tell hardly where their scars are!! We are thinking of your Ruby, she will do great!!

| Pixie was running around the house like a mad woman the same night we brought her home! The day after that she seemed a bit sore, but after a few days she was her normal self again. It was hard to restrict her jumping/running like the vet had instructed.... It's been about 6 weeks now and except for the shorter hair on her arm and belly where they shaved her, you wouldn't even know she had any surgery, there's no scar or anything! |

| Susie was a little subdued the first day. The next day I thought she was herself again, but about 2 days later she must have noticed in herself that she felt better because she was just WILD and running around and having fun. |
