| Yorkie Trivia Q: We were curious about what the smallest adult dog was. We found in our quest that........The smallest dog in history was a TINY ( NOTICE it did not say Tea-Cup) was a Tiny Yorkie from Blackburn, England. At 2 years of age and fully grown, he was ONLY 2.5 inches tall, 3.75 inches long, and weighed in at 4 ounces . WOW !!!! |

| the Guinness Book has a yorkie named "Big Boss" listed as the smallest dog in the world (*deceased*) . . . http://www.dogsinthenews.com/issues/...es/020115a.htm the smallest dog (*LIVING*) is a yorkie name Whitney . . . an article at GuinnessWorldRecords.com says . . . Smallest Living Dog Guinness World Records recognizes two categories for smallest dog – length and height. In both cases, and as with all animal size records, the claimant must be fully mature when measured – and they must be examined by a qualified veterinarian. The world's smallest dog living in terms of height is Whitney, a Yorkshire terrier who measured 7.6 cm (3 in) to the shoulder on November 26, 2002. Whitney is owned by the UK's Christopher and Patricia Sheridan of Shoeburyness, Essex, UK. The smallest living dog in terms of length is a long-haired chihuahua called Danka Kordak Slovakia, who measured 18.8 cm (7.4 in) long on May 30, 2004. Danka is owned by Ing. Igor Kvetko of Revúca, Slovakia.
