| I've Had it !!!! Chloe keeps peeing in my house all of a sudden. I have sat in pee for the second time this week (3 times if you count the pee I sat in last week in my truck). Chloe is in heat for the first time, could this be the reason for the sudden peeing? She peed in my house 3 times today that I know of. We have occasional accident but never constant peeing in the house and she even peed on my couch which she has never done before. She seems normal as far as everything else goes so I dont think she is sick. So please tell me this is common when they go in heat and that we arent regressing on being potty trained.

| Chloe is so beautiful. Maybe she is PMSing! Hopefully it is a really short phase! Maybe put pants on her. When I had my boys fixed, I put onsies on them to keep the others from licking their stitches and noticed they would not potty with them on. ??? Good luck, she isn't trying to be bad, she just doesn't feel good. Poor baby. She doesn't want her mommy to be mad at her.

| Luckily I cant be mad at her, she is too cute and sweet for that . I dont know why I keep forgetting to put her diaper on her, so this is really my fault, but she has one on now. As for her being in heat she is barely bleeding at all, but I figure since she is small that is probobly normal. Tink doesnt bleed much either. I just cant figure out why she cant hold her pee or Im wondering if she is pottying in my house on purpose becasue she is in heat for the first time and upset about it. When Tinkerbell went into heat about a month ago she hid for the whole 2 weeks. She wouldnt come out of bed except to eat and go potty. I guess I figure some dogs deal with it differently. Either way I hope I dont sit in any more pee

| Well, I have to agree - I hate to step in pee, especially in socks. Luckily I have hard floors, but I have a horrible fear of slipping on them. But, accidents will happen. I had the same problem pottytraining my kids years back. They would stand there looking right at me with their little undies on and pee running down their legs like everything was perfectly normal

| I think the increase in urinations is due to her be in heat. I think that the undies will help. Gucci use to sleep a lot when she was in heat and she didnt bleed a lot either. Her hoohoo got swollen thou. |

Oh good so you think its because she is in heat. Thats what I was hoping it was. I cant believe how big her hoohoo is, Tink's never got near that size. It reminds me more of Pennys.....

| That swelling probably feels weird to her and she is trying to pee it away. I hope she's back to the norm after her heat and that you don't have to sit in any more pee! She's such a little doll!!!

| During heat they loose fluid, therefore they drink more and thus, they will pee more So you have to take them out more frequently during heat Also she can be confused - there are fluid coming out of her vagina and maybe she can't tell the difference between pee and blood...

| my little one's name is elle and she is two years old. We bought her for our daughter in college, that lasted about 3 months, and I have had her ever since. She was so easy to pee pee pad train, but lately she has been peeing everywhere. She even pee peed in my husbands truck seat. Not cool! I dont know what her problem is. She was spayed back in the summer, so she's not in heat. I do know she is "high strung" as her vet puts it, and does NOT like to be left alone. She will almost always pee pee beside the baby gate when we are gone. But face it, I cant take her everywhere. The look on her little face when I find the puddle is pure shame and she hides, so she knows its a no no. Why is she doing this? |
