I Love Thor Donating Member | If you give a dog a bone... So I was wondering what everyone else's dog does when you give them a bone, chewy, biscuit, greenie, or whatever. Whenever I gove Thor one, he runs off like a mad man and trys to find the perfect place to buiry it. I try to give him a pig ear or something so he can just relax with a treat next to me but it always turns into a frantic race to find the perfect place to hide it, and the next 15-30 is passed with him running through the house 'digging' and scratching. He's such a squirt! Anyone else experience this? |

| lol, Bouncer is VERY protective of his greenies. It is the one thing that if someone else so much as SNIFFS him while he has one he goes apes**t on them. lmao It's hilarious. If he has to get up and move or go somewhere, that greenie NEVER leaves his mouth. It's like he found gold!

| We have a mad frenzy here, too! Zowie grabs hers and runs and hides it, she returns and one by one with gather everyone else's and hide them. Then she runs and sits on them all like a next and growls as her little pack barks madly and tries to steal them back, leading her to chase the thief down until she gets it back. It is a madhouse until I gather them all up again or they get them hidden where no-one can find it. It is so hilarious, but pretty noisy!

If everyone ignores him, he'll pick the treat up and drop in front of them taunting them and trying to get them to play. The funny thing is that only Widget is smaller than him, and the others could easily take it away from him, but they're older and just don't care.

| Three of the dogs gobble their treats as soon as they get them. The Chihuahua has to lick and sniff hers and sometimes she just "hides" it. Her hiding place is always under the blanket in her "cozy round". She's so predictable that every one of the other three routinely search her bed area to see if there are any forgotten treats. |

| Hmmm maybe because Reyna is an only child (hehe) she always snuggles up to me and chews up her treats. Not like I'm gonna try and steal them from her. hehe |

| Oh yeah...chew toys especially mini dingos are a hoot at our house! They go nuts, growling, pouncing, stealing from one another! It's really funny! I should buy stock in those places for the entertainment and the tons that we go through! |

| Sometimes Maddie will start chewing immediately upon receiving the chewy treat, but many times she runs around looking for hiding places and if she can't find the perfect place, she lets out a pitiful cry. I've even tried to help her hide them, but I don't think she trusts me because my hiding places are never good enough. LOL

| I think Diezel is the only puppy that doesnt hide anything. His thing is as soon as I wake up and get him in the morning he go back in his crate, gets his chewy and follows me around with it in his mouth until I sit down and he can climb on my lap. |

| Tigger tries to find a spot to bury it and if he can't, he'll come onto the couch and place in either in my lap or on his bed and pretend to cover it up with imaginary dirt. I think it's so cute.

| Biddy tries to give her treats to her toys!! She'll put in front of one of her toys and nudge it toward the toy. Then we have to say "No Biddy - it's for you. You have it." Then she'll eat it. It's totally strange. I had to explain the whole ritual to my mom when she puppysat for me. Tucker on the other hand takes his treats in bed where he slowly savors every bite. It takes him like 45 minutes to eat one little treat...
