| Introduction Hello All, I am new to YorkieTalk and just wanted to introduce myself and my pups! I have two Yorkie's (my husbands a chef - hence the food names): Basil is 8 years old and we rescued her from a puppy mill a little over a year ago. She has made such amazing progress in the year she's been with us, it's hard to believe she used to be very timid and shy and only willing to socialize with me. Although I'm currently being punished for the arrival of her "baby brother" she is such a sweet and amazing dog. Pico is 4 months old and my husband surprised me with him a little over a month ago. He was removed from a home that was not prepared for puppy and in result was not providing a safe and loving environment for him. I've also learned (thanks to this wonderful site) that he was taken from his mother too soon. When we got him he was about 13 weeks old and the lady that removed him had already had him for 3 weeks, and we have no idea how long the family before her had him. poor guy! He's doing great though! Potty training has been fun....LOL but we're getting there. Unfortunately his arrival has made Basil travel back in time to pre-potty training as well but I'm hopeful that we are able to nip that in the butt pretty fast. We are def. learning a lot (we've never had a puppy before) and I am so thankful for finding this site! You all are wonderful! Here are some pics of my babies
