| Pregnant Yorkie Hey guys 👋🏻 soooo, this guy sold me a yorkie female about 5lbs at the most but I was told she has a "fatty tissue" lump. He said no need to have it checked because he already knows what it is! He never gave me the paper work as proof. Of course the vet wants 900-3000 to have the test done! He also told me she is pregnant! But she has no signs of pregnancy! The only thing she does is "nest" maybe once over night under my bed. Her belly isn't big at all. Have anyone ever had a yorkie who's belly didn't grow much at all? I feel like the guy lied to me so much I'm not sure what to believe. |

| They told me I'll have to wait a few weeks before they can do an ultrasound since I'm not sure how far along she is! But she has a beige looking discharge and clear liquid coming out of her nipples if I pinch them but her stomach is no where near big at all! |

| Did she get a physical evaluation from the vet? Pyometra is a uterine infection which is sometimes mistaken for pregnancy but actually a dangerous problem which requires medical treatment. I think regardless a check up is in order.

| They should be able to determine pregnancy via a blood evaluation for relaxin, but I would say with abnormal discharge to get the little gal in to be seen- especially if there are any fowl smells, it would be good to check her temperature too and see if that reflects any signs of infection (103) hope all is well! Sounds like a rough transition of new ownership for sure, I look forward to an update.

| Yes Pyometra has a hideous foul odor, I had two un-spayed females that had it they died 6 months apart from it, they were older girls, one was 10 yo the other 13 yo.
