| Don't laugh but, has anyone on here did this? Ok, so last week, I decided to give Dexter a shower with me. I shampooed him after I shampooed and we dried off. Well, last night I took a shower and lo and behold, I grabbed his shampoo and used it in my hair. Needless to say, my hair still looked good today. I got up out of bed this morning, not a hair out of place and my hair still felt like it did after it dried last night. Is dog shampoo harmful to human scalp?

| I certainly don't know, but my thinking is our hair products would be a lot worse for our little canines than their shampoo, etc., would be for us...You're kind of a goof, y'know? I'm fond of goofs as they keep life interesting and are quite entertaining...case in point showering with your pooch first off, then add the shampoo snafoo...got me smiling for sure! |

| I have used my dogs shampoo and I like it. I think it has less chemicals in it and my hair is never dry. Susan |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Supposedly, it has a different pH, but I wouldn't say it's unhealthy. Too funny though .

| I've never shampooed my hair with dog shampoo but my last yorkie jumped in the shower with me during a thunderstorm. |

| I figure that the all natural ingredients couldn't hurt I mean, their shampoo costs like 5 to 6 times as much as mine! It has to be decent.

| I normally bathe my furkidz in the shower with me, so you that do are not alone. I have significant back & neck issues & I am no longer a "spring chicken" & it makes it easier for me. I sometimes use a plastic tub in my large kitchen sink, but it is still so messy & quite a cleanup job, including the floor, counter-top & back splash that it is just easier overall to do it in the shower.
