| Britians oldest dogs mauled to death. Britain's oldest dog mauled to death on morning walk What a terrible end. On his walk he got mauled to death. He was 25 years old, no threat to anyone.

| Omg... this is too sad. I instantly teared up! I didn't want to read it, but I did. So painful to hear, I can't imagine how the owners must feel. I always feel guilty for getting mad at my dogs, so I always try not to, or at the very least only be mad at them for half a minute. But wow, 25 years! May you rest in peace Jack.

| How very tragic, you keep your baby healthy for a longer quality of life, only to lose your precious baby in a dog attack. Makes me just SICK. The poor owners, to see this before their very eyes, a memory that will never fade, too tragic..

| This is heartbreaking, poor Jack I'm terrified of something like this happening. I always pick mine up if bigger dogs are around. |

| Er, omg that is so sad I get so much flak when I walk Teddy on a leash in order to control the approach of other dogs because people in England constantly bombard me with, 'Why don't you let him run off the leash?' It's dangerous enough for these little dogs to be around bigger dogs on a leash much less when you have no control over the situation. Poor little guy and his owners must be devastated. |

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | That is so sad! I can't imagine watching this as the owner. I posted before about this but at a training session after razzle finished the course a blackie went in full out prey mode to him. It should never have happened, but it did. Something told me to look back and then I saw. I pulled razz ahead of me and stepped behind him, and if that dog went for him, I would have kicked the dog in the face. Break the prey drive. But two men got the blackie under control TG.

| Saddening..... one of the reasons I hate taking my dog out for walks.... If you got to do it, stay alert!!! Scares me to death when dogs appear out of nowhere.... As an owner, I can't even imagine the heartache. RIP Jack
