| Interceptor Hi all! Zhoie has been on Sentinel ever since we ran out of our stock Interceptor stock.. For the past 3 months even with shaving it and mixing with her food, it's hard to get her to take it. She didn't have an issue with chewing the small Interceptor tab, I'm thinking of Switching her back to it. Has anyone went back to Interceptor or what's your thoughts? Thanks! Tena

| Great question! We are former Interceptor users and I too would like to hear some feedback from people using it now.

| I know. I feel like Zhoie isn't getting the full dose of Sentinel as it's such a struggle to get it all down her.

| It's a favored tab you give monthly to dogs to prevent heartworm, adult hookworm, roundworm and whip worm infections.

| I put the Sentinel in a little blob of crunchy peanut butter. Mine love it.

| I have broken in 3-4 pieces and put it in peanut butter, worked a couple times but is wise to it now.

| I just crush Cody's sentinel tablet into powder and sprinkle it into his food. Have you tried Revolution? It is a topical. The only reason we stopped using it was because Cody kept rubbing the area we applied it on along the sofas, carpet, etc. So, we decided to switch to an oral method, instead. I never heard of Interceptor. Quote:

Although I preferred the Interceptor because it covered more, Teddy did not like it and resisted taking the pills. When Interceptor was taken off the market, we switched to Heartgard Plus, the liver chewables, and he loves it.

With Teddy, I had to put it on the back of his tongue and hold his mouth shut until he swallowed. Looking forward to your feedback. If the ingredients are the same as before, should be good.

| My veterinarian just put Katie back in Interceptor, but I am using up the Heartgard I have first.
