| Manipulators How does your Yorkie get what he/she really wants? What do they beg for most? Max performs sits and head tilts. Or he brings me a toy. How do I say no to that? Teddy stands with his paws on my leg and looks at me with big, pleading eyes, "Pleeeeeaaaase." He can really tug at the heart strings. They do this for meals and outings. 7 years and I still cannot resist them.

| Wall-e will crawl up me and stare right into my eyes for treats, dinner, or just for me to wake up. It's like he tries to put me in a trance to get what he wants and it cracks me up every time!

| She learned the fourth day she was with us. She made this tiny whimper noise when we all left the room for a second. My husband ran out with a towel around his waist mother naked, my daughter ran down the stairs and I leaned over the loft and we all said, Are you okay?!!! ......that's all it took. She cocked her head to one side and every one gets squeals or whines. How she gets just ME to do her Majesty's bidding? Well, that's different! She fixes the same look she gave me the second i laid eyes on her, takes her furry paws and gently puts them over my hands (If I'm low enough) or coerces me, and she very gently nibbles under my nails or nuzzles my hands. |

| Boomer will look at me and shake and whimper until he gets his way. He will continue to paw at me and eventually bare his teeth until I pay attention to him

| Uni whines and barks until I can't take it anymore. Usually she wants out or she wants food. Not as often anymore she wants to play. Toto only really bugs me when he wants us to throw the ball. He never tells me when he needs to go pee. I should be thankful Uni at least tells me when she needs to go.

YT 2000 Club Member | Maggie Mae is my Velcro baby. She cries whenever I leave the room without her......doesn't bark, just cries like her heart is broken. This, of course melts my heart immediately. Needless to say she is my shadow practically everywhere I go. When I am just sitting in the den catching a movie, Maggie is always on my lap and if she requires more attention she will come up.....her face to mine and play, "who can stare the longest without blinking". This again immediately gets my attention and usually means she wants a massage, which of she gets. She has me almost completely trained!!

| Barney is a big ole whiner. He cries until we give in. Anna "talks" to us. Her noise is between a growl and a whine. Very effective. My husband can move mountains for that noise. Willie just takes what he wants. He doesn't bother asking

| Wall-e is adorable and funny! Teddy also uses the hypnotizing eyes to put me into a trance, telling me to take him to the park. Are they born with this power?!

| Scottie just stands in one spot and stares at me forever, like a statue. It's kind of creepy lol... Usually does that when he's hungry if I forgot to feed him dinner or something

| My pup is at the grab it and run stage. Her newest "grab its" are rocks from outside. After chasing her for 15 min. to retrieve one, I decided to trade the rock for a treat. Well, guess what happens ALL the time now........ |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | They have us trained! Bentley whimpers or barks, usually for food or to go out. Porsche is the mistress of manipulators. She will whine this incredibly heart-breaking sound until she gets what she wants, which includes: putting a blanket over our laps so she can snuggle, to get a blanket on the couch arranged as she likes it, or just to be with one of us.

| When Coco was younger, he use to lick my toes. Now at 2 1/2 year old, he'll sit in front of me and tap on my leg or feet with one of his paw. Usually his right paw. I believe I taught him how to shake hand and it grew from there on. Lola will come close to me and dance if i'm standing up. If i'm sitting then she will jump on my lap and lick me and tell me to give her a back rub! |
