| dr called about Layla!!! Layla's IV drip has been turned down today sugar has stayed up!!! she is chowing down on baby food they are going to put some kibble in there and see if she will start eating that doctor says all this was caused by infection in her intestines!! Infection is gone no more diarrhea and she might be able to come home tomorrow as long as everything stays the way it is now!!! Thank ypu all for your kind words!!! Dr. Also said I need to find clothes for her so she does not shiver because that burns sugar. .went to both pet store in my area and neither has anything small enough..I looked on amazon but the one's I found to fit will take forever to get here!! Anybody know of a site to order from with very fast shipping? ? |

YT 500 Club Member | Hopefully someone here on YT can make your baby a shirt or two. You maybe could use a tube sock and cut holes for her arms and cut the length so happy she is feeling better.

| for a quick fix for the small ones: Cut a sock so it has holes in it for her front legs I hear works well. If you can hand sew at all, sew the areas you cut so it does not fray. Check on Etsy for clothes her size that can be shipped.

Please review what I told you about setting up a box that will keep her out of drafts and warm. Put a heating pad under the BOX, so she can not come into contact with the pad. If you put the heating pad under the box on LOW, and then cover the top of the box 1/2 the way across the top, using one of those heating throws....that will keep that enfant out of drafts and provide enough warmth around her.....her ambient temp surrounding her should be at least 88 degrees, with NO drafts.

| https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4adFCRoUQM https://www.pinterest.com/pin/377458012490563575/ I sell doggie clothing in my site & do have some very small sizes but she might grow out of them fast...easier & less expensive to make them. Good Luck!

Make sure she is eating kibble.....take some to the vet before she comes home and see if she eats it there....if necessary, I would put just a small amount of the little bites in the baby food, so she just gets a bite of it every now and then....and after she gets used to running across kibble bits in that chicken baby food, you will be able to start adding a little more kibble and cutting back on the baby food....take your time with this.....as long as she is eating, she is doing fine....and by all means, keep giving that Nutra Drops every 4 hours....she has to be able to sustain her energy level with that tiny little tummy....she is soooo tiny....after she weighs 3-4 lbs, if she is eating well, you can go to 3 times a day.....
