| warm baths for cold days? Lately we've been having super off weather, it isn't completely two-jackets cold but quite chilly. I really think doggy needs a bath again he somehow got into the dustbin, peanut butter can, under the birdcage and his bum fell into dirty water too. I just don't have the heart to do this to him but he's really dirty, he's fine with a hair dryer so can i bathe him on cold days and use the dryer on him or not? |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I bathe mine (in hot/warm water, of course!) on cold days and yes, I use a dryer to get them dry quicker.

| Yeah a dryer is best used during the colder seasons. My girl don't really like the dryer, but I'll hold her for a good long time wrapped in a fluffy towel (till she's barely damp) while having her lay on me while I'm in bed. It provides the opportunity for me to get the gunkier eye-boogies off her and she can't move much from me

| Yep, we always shower Harry in really quite warm water - he yelps if it's too cold, and backs away! He actually quite loves the hairdryer (which I've always found quite odd...he's SUCH a boy normally!) and rolls around with glee so it's easy to get to all his 'underparts'... We normally put his towel in the tumble dryer for 10 minutes so it's lovely + warm + soft for him, for the minute we get him out of the water

| Yes, when I bathe Bentley I always use warm water and towel dry off afterward. He then gets blow-dried on a warm setting.

| Sophie likes her bath and when I blow dry her she rolls around and has even started to fall asleep. I put her on the floor and have a hands free dryer stand so I brush her and pet her the whole time |

| I fluctuate between taking Lola in the shower with me, or in my laundry room sink. If she gets bathed in the Laundry sink I throw the towel in the dryer while she getting her bath, she really seems to enjoy the warm towel. I had a hand operation years ago and to help myself I bought a hairdryer stand, I LOVED it, and found it was great to help in drying my yorkies. With Lola I put a towel on the bottom of an empty laundry basket which I put on a high counter in my bathroom or laundry room, I set the dryer on low and she has no choice but to stay in the basket. I don't leave the bathroom so I can keep an eye on her, but she does not try to jump out because she knows she is on the counter.

| this looks like the one I have now, I am on my second one. I like the fact you can bend it and move the direction around. International Hair Dryer Stand - BedBathandBeyond.com
