| New member Hello......I am new to this site so please be patient with me. I just got my first yorkie. She is 10 weeks old. The only reason the breeder gave her to be so early is because I work for a vet and can take her to work with me. I named her Gianna. She is my first yorkie. I have always had poodles. Gianna is 10 1/2 weeks old and weighs 1.2 pounds. Does anyone know how big she will get? |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hi and welcome to YT !! My guess for weight would be anywhere from 3-5 lbs....but it can be unpredictable, so who knows...?

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Welcome...there are growth charts that provide estimates but nothing is 100%. Your breeder may have a good idea based on past litters with the same pairing. Also, Pics would be awesome😀 |

YT 1000 Club Member | Welcome! She sounds wonderful. It is nice to be able to take her to work with you. I might actually consider getting a job if I could take my Yorkie to work with me. LOL. Naw, I love being a stay at home mom too much. Enjoy your new baby!

| Welcome. Please be careful taking her to work when she doesn't have all of her shots or she could get parvo or something else. One of the reasons puppies should stay with there moms until 12 weeks is to learn about biting and socialization it's not just about being left alone.

| Welcome to YT! I hope you get years of love and happiness with Gianna. She is a little one! I am also new here. I recently received two yorkies as gifts from my partner; for Christmas a male, Duncan, who is now 5 months old and a female who is now 3 months old for Valentine's Day. I love these little imps and can't wait to get home from work everyday to play with them and hug them and receive their multiple kisses. I feel as if I am a new mother again! Yesterday when I got home from work I found out that my three month old, Little Miss Elliot, learned how to go up and down the stairs. I was so upset that I wasn't there to see it the first time but so excited when I saw her do it last night. Please post some pictures when you are able to so we can see Gianna. I love seeing everyone's furbabies. |
