| Observer effect (Yorkies). A new Lickipedia entry. By observing Bella, I just discovered a new scientific principle, so I'm plagiarizing the Wikipedia a little bit here for some humor: Observer effect (Yorkies) In science, the term observer effect refers to changes that the act of observation will make on a phenomenon being observed. This is often the result of instruments that, by necessity, alter the state of what they measure in some manner. A commonplace example is checking up on a sleeping Yorkie; this is difficult to do without waking the Yorkie, resulting in excessive face licking. This effect can be observed in many domains of Yorkie behavior... Feel free to add to this "Lickipedia" entry with examples from your own experience . YT Addict | My example is that I cannot even look in Jenna's direction without her belly rolling up for a cuddle. After which I get a thorough "tongue lashing" of my arm.
