YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Oh for sure, and once your baby's heart starts beating they will *hear* that too, and quite frankly even now you *smell* different - well at least to a dog!

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | It always seems like it takes forever with the first child. How exciting a little girl can not wait to see pictures and watch her grow up. I had two daughters and now 3 grand kids Love watching them grow up. Charlie will make a great brother

| Absolutely! My Lexie is a seizure alert girl, so they know smells & behavioral differences. Remember, THEY HAVE THE BURDEN TO COMMUNICATE WITH US! So they are way ahead of the game on the perception side. This true of all domestic canines.

| I think they do because one of our daycare parents were pregnant and Joel kept following her and barking, everyone thought he was being so strange and that night she went into labor. |

| LOL too funny.. Charlie will come and sit real close to my belly and his ears pucker up if he feels her kick. haha I'm wondering if he's sitting by my belly because he knows she's in there! He didn't use to do that. |

| Absolutely they know! My big boy, Buddy (a GSP) even knew when I went into labor before I did! I was pg with DD1 when we got Buddy and the morning (2am) I went into labor he was right there with me. He knew. I woke up and decided to go to the bathroom and he went with me and laid his head on my lap. When I started walking back to the bedroom my water broke and I started having contractions 15 minutes later. He didn't leave my side until we left for the hospital. When I got pg with DD2 he became super clingy, and again with DD3. He was also really good with the girls when they were new babies, always worried when they cried, laying with them during tummy-time, being their horsey when they got older.
