| Found Yorkie in Dallas My son lives in an apartment complex here in Dallas, Texas and noticed a little Yorkie running around and through his apartments for 3 days. He finally caught him and walked around the apartments asking if he belonged to anyone. He called my husband and I to come and get him today since he has to leave on a trip. We drove through the neighborhood looking for any lost signs. Here is what we plan to do tomorrow. Go back and put up some found Yorkie signs, post on craigslist, take him to the vet to see if he has a chip and wait. I can not keep him as I am a one Yorkie lady. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I should do if he is not claimed? I'm afraid to take him to the pound........Need help in Dallas!! |

| If no one responds and no chip I would look into a rescue. Linda (Ladyjane) might be able to help tell you one.

| If the owner can't be found, you can contact Bluebonnet Yorkshire Terrier Club rescue. I'm sure Diane or Lissette can help you out. Blue Bonnet Yorkshire Terrier Club Rescue - Home

| Thanks ladies!! We gave him a good bath with Dawn and then my favorite Yorkie shampoo so that my Roxy who is flea free can remain so. He seems to be mild mannered and obeys pretty good. I can't get him to eat or drink water yet. I've tried giving him Blue Freedom, Beneful, Simply Nourish and Nature's Recipe and he hasn't taken a bite. I think he may be scared so I'm boiling a chicken breast and broth now. Poor baby but we will take very good care of him during his short stay here. Thanks to Yorkie Talk I know how to be a GREAT Pet Parent. |

| I did a little research and there is a male Yorkie posted as missing on Craigslist and on a facebook page named "lost dogs of Texas." The dog is from Denton but look at the photo. The facebook page may be a good place to post your found Yorkie's photo or keep and eye out for post there. I hope he is chipped, so sad. https://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/laf/4652721573.html Last edited by shelbysmom; 09-04-2014 at 08:36 PM. |

| I'm praying this little guys owners chipped him so they can be reunited. I know many don't believe in micro chipping, but I want my guys to have every chance of being returned to me if they ever get out & lose their tags. Bless you & your son for keeping this little guy safe until his owners are found, or if not, until you can get him into a good rescue. You may very well have saved his life!

| I hope this little guy finds his home. Please be careful about posting too much info on your flyers. He could be claimed by anyone. Please keep us posted.

| Denton is 39 miles from Dallas. I doubt he would have made it without getting run over.
