| Being Bobby Brown's Yorkie I caught a rerun of the Being Bobby Brown Holiday Episode yesterday. (Ok i was REALLY desperate for something to watch) they have a cute Yorkie and it actually showed Whitney paying attention to it but then they go to a PET STORE In LA and buy the daughter a Yorkie pup for Christmas. Just like they were buying a piece of jewelry or something it was just like I'll take that one.. and away they went! It was a cute puppy but out of a puppy store??? GRRRRR it just made me mad!! No research on the puppies health or background or anything!

| I think that is where all the stars get their dogs,, Paris H, Nicole R, The Osbournes.. they talk and show em going to pet stores.. Ignorance is no excuse. And most claim to be such Animal lovers and advocates.

| It's sad but true, I can only imagine how much they paid, it was a good size puppy, at least they weren't on the prowl for the tiniest one! The one they have is a bigger Yorkie I'd say it's 10 or more pounds. So at least they weren't on the "teacup" bandwagon!

| what are they thinking??? Yes I was SHOCKED they gave Bobby Christina (thier daughter) a puppy! I feel it was for looks and not because the daughter was head over heels wanting a Yorkie. One of those "my gf has one, why can't I?" type of gifts IMHO. UGH!!!

| I totally agree that buying puppies from pet stores promotes puppy mills and keeps these horrible people in business. But I can't help but wonder, what would happen to the poor babies if nobody buys them? Isn't it better that they get a home than to be cooped up in a tiny cage in a pet store? I am in NO way condoning this but I feel so sorry for those poor puppies.

I think people really dont know any better. Thank God for the internet. I was close to buying a puppy from a place that I thought was a pretty decent place until I researched and found that it was best to stay away from all places like that. I guess I was ignorant. I didnt know about breeders and other options. | |

| Many celebs get their pets from this breeder... including Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson. Now, any chihuahuas from Tinkerbell's line sell for about $13,000! http://texasteacups.smugmug.com/

| I saw that. I actually thought that Bobbi Christina was really good with their other yorkie. Hopefully she'll take care of the puppy and hasn't lost interest already! I was actually glad it was for their daughter and not for Whitney- she looked high on something during the whole first segment of the show! I thought the puppy was cute, but it's face looked a little different than the "usual" yorkie puppy face from what I remember. Did anyone else think so, or was it just me?! |

| Grrr...That is so irritating! Why do they do this? This definitely makes the public think it's okay to buy from pet stores! They make it seem like the "cool" thing to do...Makes me sad and sick...

| People are sick to buy them and be so uneducated, and even sicker to breed living creatures for novelty. I also didn't like that every dog was a Number, not a name, even temporary.... just a number. Jeni |
