| Yorkie Weight Hi All Just wanted to ask what your yorkie does or did weigh at 6 months old? I have just weighed Oscar (3.7kg) and Toby (3.4kg). Both are growing nicely and look in good shape but I heard this is heavier than a Yorkie should be? Any thoughts are much appreciated. Thank you x

| Weight My male stopped growing at 6 mos. and weighs 5 lbs. if they are still on puppy food they will continue to add weight. I changed to adult food at 6 mos. It also depends how active they are because they can burn it off. Some dogs have growth spurt, but yorkies should weigh 5-7 lbs as an adult. |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | All Yorkies are different. There is no set weight they should be at 6 months. . . . . The standard is 7lbs or less but there are many dogs that are bigger. As long as they are happy and healthy ,

| Lol if yours are heavier than they should be for their age then mine must be obese. Oliver is 7 months now and he was 5.5 lbs last time we weighed him at 6 months. |
