| I have a Snoozer car seat for Jax. When I have him in his seat belt harness, he ends up getting all twisted, maybe because he is still young (10 months) and is not use to it. Jax does much better with the extension seat belt connector. I place him on the Snoozer and buckle the seat belt then take the connector and connect it to the shoulder part of the belt and then to his harness. You can still use it without the Snoozer seat, but I like for him to be able to look out the window. |

| My Huey always rides in a cat seat, partly for safety but also because he gets car sick if he can't see out of the window. I have a snoozer-type now, but he does not like it as much as he did his old el-cheapo basket style that he finally tore up by standing on the edge until it bent. I think he felt more secure down in the basket as opposed to being on top with barely a ledge between him and falling out. I always secure his harness firmly to the actual seat of the car to prevent him becoming a projectile through the windshield. Neither type of car seat that I have owned is crash rated.

| Bella rides in her car seat. She's nervous and can't get settled if she's not in it, even if I'm holding her.

| I have a Snoozer console car seat. We tried putting Ripley in the back in a car seat, and it was fine for short distances, but long distance, she cried and barked constantly. When we put her next to us in the console car seat...she laid down and slept most of the trip. We love it. I did get the larger size as the small size was really snug for her 5lbs. The larger size is great. It does fit on the console pretty snug. I drive a Jag XJL. While it is a couple of inches longer than my console (it hangs a little over the end of it), it fits pretty snuggly and doesn't move at all - plus the added benefit of securing it to the seats help too. She is also harnessed in.
