| Teddy has a long lost brother... teddy has a brother from another mother. RIP Perry, you didn't need to suffer and die at only 4 years old. Your mom misses you every minute of every day. She spent so much money trying to save you, but it wasn't meant to be. Your breeder didn't care and didn't even reply to the news of his passing. I suppose she was too busy living off the backs of sick dogs. I hope and pray my Teddy doesn't have what Perry had. The crystals took over his body, and his brain, and he wandered around in pain and seizures until he died. RIP Perry, you were a good boy and we will miss you.

| It's so sad how Teddy's breeder just keeps pumping out those $2,500 puppies. She knows about poor Teddy and his seizures and crystals but just keeps going. I see how upset you are Cathy over Teddy so I can imagine how Perry's owner feels. I just love Teddy...he's a beautiful sick dog just like his brother Perry

| Oh my goodness, that is so sad. That sounds like such a slow painful way to go. At least he's no longer in pain. God willing, Teddy doesn't meet the same fate. I'll keep you all in my prayers. **HUGS** to Perry's momma. My heart breaks for her loss. |

| I'm so sorry for you and Perry's mom. It sounds like she is like you--willing to do anything to care for her baby. You both went to someone who you thought was reputable, a YTCA member who is supposed to uphold the highest ethics. I'm so sorry Teddy has been sick and to also hear that Perry's mom lost her beloved baby. It's important to get to get the word out about these supposedly "reputable" breeders who refuse to step up to the plate and do everything they can to produce healthy, well-adjusted babies.

| Thanks. I can't stop thinking about him. He was probably so sweet like Teddy. His mom did not let him suffer and got him all the care he needed but the disease overtook him. So sad.

| If this is an inherited, genetic condition, will you share the name of the breeder if she is still in the business of selling/placing dogs in order to protect others?

I don't know if this (Perry's condition) is inherited but I do know that Teddy and his two close relatives are either sick or dead.

| [QUOTE=107barney;4430501]Sure, it's Shenanigans Yorkies. A YTCA breeder. I don't know if this (Perry's condition) is inherited but I do know that Teddy and his two close relatives are either sick or dead.[/] Just because your a breeder listed on the YTCA website does not mean a health guarantee! Poor Teddy

| Such a sad, so familiar story, full of pain and misery, and it sounds more than a little coincidental that that many of that still-youngish littler should be sick or dead, apparently of the same condition? Gone way too young. R.I.P., babies. Thank you for sharing the name of the breeder.
