| Quick Question Hi! Just need some quick advice!. I am a new mommy to Bella (Those may know me from my very first post about my boyfriend purchasing my baby for me yesterday). I work from home and I was wondering what should I do with my Bella while I am at my desk. I dont want to keep her in her crate while I am plugging away 8 hours a day at my computer. I was thinking about getting an old bassinet and filling it with some toys and some chewable treats to keep her happy and near me. I dont have one at the moment but I do have a very large box but the height isnt so high that I cant see her (My bed is so close to my bed that I can touch it without getting up due to my bedroom being so small). Any suggestions? I just dont want her to feel neglected although I am right here and I can take her out on my breaks and lunch! |

| I wouldn't use a bassinet. She will be able to jump out in no time and being that they are pretty high up she could hurt herself. Maybe get an X-pen or google dog playpens. You might want to get a good one that will hold up over time. It's great to take traveling or to the park. Or in case you just want to jump in the shower!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | What about an xpen area or something? Like a little fenced off area near you that contains a bed, water, food, some toys, pee pad? I used this set when Pfeiffer was a puppy, perfect size: Purchase the IRIS 4 Panel Pet Pen at Walmart.com. Save money. Live better.

| Love my expen. I have the 36 in so nothing jumps out. I have had it for about 8 yrs so they last a long time. I put 2 of them so they have 16 sq feet to roam. I use it camping and only when we are outside. Never alone. I hate seeing dogs tied out poor thing never stop barking. My brother uses his inside at night for them to sleep in. Hope this helps |

| Thanks for the advice! I dont think my room is big enough for a x pen, plus my room is carpeted. Wouldnt want her to ruin it. I think my room is 5 x 12, I believe. (It's a tandem room converted into a bedroom. Even a playpen would be too big. However, I will check into an x-pen and some sort of hard bottom to protect my carpeting. |
