| Question about crate size? I bought this crate before I got Gunner. I planned to use it after the playpen. He is old enough now to sleep all night without going potty, so I think it was time. I was really looking at him in there and I was wondering if it is too small? He can fully lay down, turn around and stand up. I have my Ole Girls old crate and could use that, but it is much bigger and might invite him to pee on one side? Opinions please?

| I think if it's just for night time, it's fine. It wouldn't be something I would want to keep him in all day while you are at work or running errands.

| I'm home all day for it is just for night time and if I go out running an errand. I'm never gone long. He seems to do fine in it, he gets let out at 5:30am.

YT 1000 Club Member | IF I had to crate one/more of my guys for lengthily periods (work/overnight) I'd get the biggest Crate I had room for. Maybe something as large as a 36x48" or bigger. That'd be enough room to put a small "bunk bed" in the front with a small dish of water and a toy or two, then, a nice large area at the back of the Crate for Potty area. Just make it a small "Room" they'd enjoy rather than a Jail.
