| Bare belly I've got a dumb question i think. I was just reading about grooming tips and it seems that everyone has to shave the belly... but Raisin doesn't have any hair on her belly, which i thought was normal She does have really thin chest hair. What is normal?? |

| There isn't anything wrong with your baby. I had one that way, too, and I was very grateful! My present yorkie does have hair on her tummy, though! Darn it!

| Mellie has alot of hair on her belly. Mac has very little. They also have very different coats as well. I guess it just depends on the Yorkie.

| Thanks for letting me know she's not abnormal or anything like that ; ) lol if I hadn't started reading about grooming I wouldn't have even guessed that they can grow hair on their tummy. It is really neat how there are so many variations in these little pups I learn more every day! From what I gather they get shaved there because it prevents matting, but perhaps there are also other reasons...? |
